UCR's Dance Marathon 2013
ALD is proud to announce that we will be taking part in UCR's second annual Dance Marathon on Feb. 23! Relay For Life
ALD is excited to be a part of Relay For Life: UC Riverside. The 24-hour event to raise cancer awareness will be on April 13th.

The Color Run 2012
Alpha Lambda Delta at UCR had the privileged of attending the 2012 Color Run in Orange County. The Color Run is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color crazy day with your friends and family. The events consisted of people of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes toeing the start line. Whether you were a casual morning mall walker or an Olympic athlete, the Color Run course was one of the most enjoyable 3 miles you’ve probably traveled in a VERY long time. We all loved this Color Dash of fun!* The proceeds of this run went to the Big Brother, Big Sister Foundation. ALD will definitely be trying to make this an annual event from now on!

UCR Dance Marathon 2012
Alpha Lambda Delta was able to attended the first annual UCR Dance Marathon. Dance Marathon is a six-hour celebration that brings UC Riverside students, staff, faculty, and entertainers together in order to raise funding and awareness for the Guardian Scholars Program which provides the gift of education to former foster youth. Alpha Lambda Delta was able to raise more than $700 dollars for the cause!
General Meeting Oct. 30th, 2012
On October 30th 2012 we held our "BOO-k night" to celebrate the season of spookiness. ALD assembled fall and Halloween inspired coloring books for the Cards for Kidz Program at Loma Linda Children's Hospital. While we put together the books, we also showed a scary movie as an in-meeting social!
